    DISA/Joint Service Provider (JSP)

    April 29th, 2021

    WELCOME

The sudden shift to remote work in March 2020 forced organizations to take on new cybersecurity challenges in the virtual working environment.  A year later, organizations are still trying to understand the changes in their cybersecurity risk profile and revamp their strategies, training, and exercises to address these changes.

At DISA/JSP's April 2021 Cybersecurity Forum, attendees will examine remote cybersecurity readiness, learn better security practices, complete trainings and look for technologies that can connect and protect remote workers in cyberspace.

    Cybersecurity and the Remote Workforce

The forum will have a focus on the sudden shift to remote work that occurred as a result of the pandemic and how organizations need to understand how their cyber risk profiles have changed and must revamp their strategies, training, and exercises to address threats and minimize risks.  The reputational, operational, legal and compliance implications could be considerable if cybersecurity risks are neglected.

We’re encouraging users to be accountable for their cybersecurity and enact positive user behavior while working remotely.  With that being said, we will have a wide range of speakers and topics. The event will also feature industry sessions to provide attendees with the opportunity to explore how capability providers can help DISA/JSP achieve their vision for every mission.
